Comprehensive Eye Exams – Dr. Chang will review your health and vision history and perform a variety of tests to determine the state of your eye health.  Many systemic conditions, such as Diabetes, high blood pressure, may affect your ocular health without apparent symptoms.  An annual eye exam is highly recommended to maintain the optimum vision.

Visual Field Test – Visual field test is important to diagnose and monitor several ocular and neurological conditions, such as glaucoma, brain tumor, optic neuritis, etc.

Binocular Vision Test – Vision is our main sensory input for our daily activities.  Clear and comfortable vision does not stop at 20/20.  A good binocular vision will increase visual efficiency and prevent eyestrain.  It is especially important for pediatric population, who relies vision heavily for learning, to ensure proper visual development.

Disease Treatment and Management – Dr. Chang is the primary care doctor of your eyes.  She will diagnose and treat eye conditions, such as pink eye, conjunctivitis, allergy, dry eye, uveitis, keratoconus, glaucoma, etc.

Topography – Corneal topography provides the surface map of the cornea, the front most layer of you eye.  It offers the crucial information to diagnose any corneal irregularity before proceed any laser vision correction procedure.  It also provides the important information for custom-made contact lenses and Orthokeratology.  The information of corneal mapping is vital to monitor the progression of corneal disease and the progress of Orthokeratology.

Laser Vision Correction (LASIK, LASEK, PRK) – Dr. Chang has worked with corneal specialists in Boston Eye Group for years, and she has extensive experience of pre and post-operative care for patients who have underwent laser vision correction.

Contact Lens Exams – We offer a variety of different lenses to fulfill your visual needs.  Dr. Chang will discuss with you and determine which design will be the best for your daily life and your corneal curvature.  The list includes soft contact lenses, gas permeable lenses (RGP), Toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal lenses, hybrid lenses and custom made lenses for irregular corneas (eg keratoconus, post-operative cornea).

Orthokeratology – Also known as Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT).  It is a safe, non-surgical and FDA-approved procedure to correct vision.

Myopia (nearsightedness) Control – With rapid technological advances and increased near visual demand, the nearsighted population has also increased.  Our goal is to prevent myopia from progressing at school age for children.
